shameful.
My mom said that when she and my dad would travel through Nevada (specifically central and western Nevada), there would be places like this. They wouldn’t be allowed to stay in hotels, eat in certain places, etc. And this was in the early 90s.

Can anyone recommend some good non-fiction books about the history of apartheid in South Africa? Reading Coetzee in one of my classes and I’m trying to be at least marginally less ignorant about the topic.
